1. Appointment Policy:

Appointments can be made in writing via phone (text or whatsapp) or via email. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
We appreciate punctuality; please notify us well in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel. If you are happy with your dog’s groom, we generally advise that you make your next appointment upon collection of your dog.

2. Cancellations and no-shows:

3. Pricing and Payment:

Prices are subject to change based on the dog’s size, weight, coat condition, and behaviour during grooming. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash in the exact amount, or you can pay via revolut (a link will be sent to your phone). We cannot accept card payment. See further information in the Price List section.

4. Matting and Handling Difficulties:

Additional charges may apply for excessive matting or handling difficulties. Matting is a very painful condition for your dog. It pulls the skin very tight, restricting the blood flow to the skin. Matted dogs are more prone to skin irritation, skin infections, and other health problems as a result of the mats.
We prioritize the well-being of your pet and will communicate any concerns during the grooming process. If your dog is severely matted, this needs to be removed using clipper blades and scissors, resulting in your dog’s skin being exposed. Please be aware, that this is done in the best interest of your dog, to prevent them being in discomfort and pain, and to ensure their safety.
In order to prevent matting, regular visits are strongly advised (every 4-6 weeks)

5. Grooming Results:

We will always aim to achieve the desired grooming results however we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as they depend on factors like coat condition and individual behaviour. Sometimes your dog’s coat may need to be clipped shorter because of knots or matting. On the other hand, if you feel that we did not cut your dog’s hair short enough, then let us know and we can arrange to cut it a little shorter.

6. Liability:

Loveable Locks Dog Grooming is not liable for pre-existing health conditions. Please inform us if your dog has any known medical/skin conditions or allergies prior to their appointment.

7. Aggressive Behaviour:

If your dog displays aggressive behaviour that poses a risk to us or other pets, we reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming services (we may have to stop at any point during the groom) We practice force free grooming- in other words, we will not force your dog to go through a process that causes them to become more aggressive or stressed.

8. Privacy Policy:

We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent.
